Culture and Diversity

One of our core areas of work is Culture and Diversity and we aim to promote understanding of cultural diversity through improved communication in a safe environment where people can express their feelings and opinions without fear of recrimination. 

This area of work has been very successful and has led to a number of partnerships being set up in cross community, cross border and now Europe.  Such partnerships have opened up new horizons for everyone participating with the women accessing courses and visiting places such as City Hall, Stormont, Dail, and now Europe.

Through our involvement in the Grundtvig II Learning Partnership women have the opportunity to visit Italy, Finland, Latvia, England and Dublin where they share their skills and history of each other’s traditional crafts.
